A.P.C Cable knit
Friday, 6 February 2015
I have been wanting a perfect cable knit sweater for years, after purchasing numerous, and all failing to meet my requirements, I gave up.
I have found that the well known saying is true: When you stop looking it will come (usually associated with love, however is clothing not my love haha?)
And then, whilst looking through the APC sale, I remembered the cable knit sweater I had been coveting for autumn/winter 14, was suddenly reduced and within my budget… I proceeded quickly to purchase and now, my perfect, silk blended, cable knit is mine.

The White Company

Interiors come as one of my secondary focuses to clothing: fashion for the home.
After years of trying to make my room feel homely but clean, I have failed, after buying numerous cushions and throws in velvet, silk and fur, I have found that The White company provide what I have been searching for.
My room, now simply consists of a bed with white bead linen, a white fur (faux)throw, a mirrored bedside draw set and two rather plain IKEA lamps.
I enjoy this simplicity, using it as an escape to a blank canvas, to be filled with mental inspiration.
However, I have been longing for luxurious comfort which a bedroom requires, pictures of family and friends, cushions to lie upon, a bedspread: all which I have found from The White Company, to perfectly suit my bedroom after years of decorating.
I have found the perfect knitted throw, cushions and picture frames to add to my bedroom, in the white to grey colour palette which they use, which is what, unknowingly I have been searching for for years combining the beautiful soft hues and details to create a fresh, but luxurious atmosphere.

Finding the perfect A-Line mini skirt
Saturday, 3 January 2015
A-line Mini skirts are my obsession, they are my go to peice in my wardrobe - so much so that I am recognised as the "skirt and tights girl" at college!
I find them so much more flattering than jeans and trousers, for my figure personally and I love there quirky-elegance they have.
However, finding the basic a line skirt to be worn with anything has came as quite a mission, especially within a reasonable price tag zone- I have came across numerous in high street stores in the perfect A line shape, to be disappointed to find an unwanted zip, pocket and most irritating a coloured pattern!
Valentino, Miu Miu and Dolce and Gabbana have all produced the perfect skirts- however their price range is rather high! I will either eagerly await for them to enter the sale, or painfully save so that I can own the perfect mini skirt...

After years of waiting, I have finally managed to add the Sofia Coppola x Louis Vuitton to my bag collection. I have been building up my collection, with this bag always in mind - the luxurious outer leather and inner suede.
The sizing of the bag is a major purpose to my purchase; owning Chanel 2.55 and Reissue in the smaller sizes, I have felt the need to own another luxury bag that will hold much more items, for more practical use.
The size of this bag is the PM: however much to my confusion there are two versions of the PM, this being the cobalt, coming under the smaller of the two(along with various other colours, black not being an option) and a ever so slightly larger PM is black- the cobalt in this option features a pink trim, however black is an option.
The prices remain the same, which also added to my confusion due to their different sizings.
This should have been a negative, due to my favor being in the bigger PM; but Cobalt without the pink.
However my lust for the cobalt was overcome and I had to indulge. Upon reflection of my bag, I feel I have made the correct choice, as this size enables me to transition from daytime to night, whilst still achieving practicality and elegance.
