I recently became captivated by a Céline box bag in dark brown leather, within the cruise '16 collection. The colour came as a welcome change to my deep set love for traditional navy and black leathers, which compromise my bag collection. My current interest/obsession of brown led me to fall in love with this new colour of the box bag.
To confirm whether a new investment was required, I had to see the bag in person. Hoping for a dark chocolate brown, these hopes were dashed, when presented with the dark "wood" leather. The colour was just not the right tone of brown, and reminded me more of a green type, forest brown.
With this disappointment, came joy, with the "camel" leather being shown to me.With both bags infront of me, my eye was immediately attracted to the camel, with it's butter soft leather shining under the lights of the store, accompanied by it's shining gold strap features and clasp.
The classic camel bag has always been an ultimate desire of mine, however I always felt unable to invest in a bag so "bright" for my taste. This time though, desire heightened and consequently became a requirement. The wood bag shifted to the back of my mind, and felt unnecessary.
After much deliberation between thoughts of: "should I go with my first interest, or with impulse", I fell to the latter, and the camel bag subsequently left the store with me.
