APC FW15

Wednesday, 11 March 2015

I have been waiting for APC's presentation for the entire Paris fashion week, not knowing which day it
will be presented, due to not being able to find it scheduled. When I saw images of the collection emerging on Instagram I got so exited, due to the fact that finally- on the last day of the pfw, the collection appearing, and also due to the initial images meeting my style demands (dark, simple, A-line) Waiting all day, constantly refreshing style.com to gain further insight on the collection, I grew irritable wanting further details of the roll necks and apparently perfect skirts and maryjanes. Finally, checking at 8pm there it is! Oh.my.golly.gosh aah. It is beautiful. What I have been waiting for. Can I have it all now? My wish list/ what I WILL be purchasing is:
The red roll neck, grey coats, navy skirts, black ribbed roll neck, the black re-invention of the half moon bag, and those Mary Janes. Many of the looks presented can be interchanged to create various outfits, and even more importantly- to me- I would actually wear so many of the items shown. Roll on winter 2015, I better start saving!

A.P.C Cable knit

Friday, 6 February 2015

I have been wanting a perfect cable knit sweater for years, after purchasing numerous, and all failing to meet my requirements, I gave up.
I have found that the well known saying is true: When you stop looking it will come (usually associated  with love, however is clothing not my love haha?)
And then, whilst looking through the APC sale, I remembered the cable knit sweater I had been coveting for autumn/winter 14, was suddenly reduced and within my budget… I proceeded quickly to purchase and now, my perfect, silk blended, cable knit is mine.

The White Company

Saturday, 17 January 2015

Interiors come as one of my secondary focuses to clothing: fashion for the home.
After years of trying to make my room feel homely but clean, I have failed, after buying numerous cushions and throws  in velvet, silk and fur, I have found that The White company  provide what I have been searching for.
My room, now simply consists of a bed with white bead linen, a white fur (faux)throw, a mirrored bedside draw set and two rather plain IKEA lamps.
I enjoy this simplicity, using it as an escape to a blank canvas, to be filled with mental inspiration.
However, I have been longing for luxurious comfort which a bedroom requires, pictures of family and friends, cushions to lie upon, a bedspread: all which I have found from The White Company, to perfectly suit my bedroom after years of decorating.
I have found the perfect knitted throw,  cushions and picture frames to add to my bedroom, in the white to grey colour palette which they use, which is what, unknowingly I  have been searching for for years combining the beautiful soft hues and details to create a fresh, but luxurious atmosphere.

The row pale blue

Thursday, 8 January 2015

Pale blue is a major feature within the pre spring/summer trend, one in which I have been wanting to indulge in. This sweater by The Row would be a perfect piece to transition from winter to spring.
